One particular focus of our endeavours has always been what we offer to our community. Besides knowing the quality of our products, we have realized that we can benefit the people of Alexandria in a different way as well: by reusing what would otherwise be waste material, we can help you bring more life into your own garden or compost. Through the recycling of our mushroom blocks, we are not only helping you get a healthier soil, but we all contribute to maintaining a healthy ecosystem - a true scenario where everybody wins!

We always have spent mushroom substrate ready for pickup, conveniently stored in large wooden crates located in front of our garage. These crates are easily accessible, with one containing blocks that have had the plastic removed, while the other still houses blocks in their original packaging. We understand that some customers prefer to transport the substrate while it's still in the plastic to minimize mess, so we accommodate both preferences.

Our pickup process is self-serve for your convenience. When visiting, please remember to bring along a shovel and garden gloves. Additionally, if you don't have a truck, worry not! We provide empty feed sacks for you to load the substrate into. These sacks are conveniently located in a green metal box in our driveway.

Given the popularity of our mushroom substrate and the frequent visits from our regular customers, we recommend messaging us the day before you plan on coming by. This ensures that we can reserve enough substrate for your needs and avoid any disappointments.
